Fork Clamps - Triple Trees
Non-Adjustable Standard Size (7 5/8") Modern Bike Fork Clamps
for Honda, Yamaha, KTM & Kawasaki
These fork clamps are designed to specifically work with the inverted forks and stock standard factory components, such as the fork stems, bearings, dust covers, clamp bolts, handle bar clamps and stops.  They are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum making them lighter without compromising the integrity of the fork clamps.  Designed with 7 5/8" tube centers and 65mm offset.  The fork tubes slide up and down limitelessly clearing the handlebars.  Pre-drilled holes for number plates.  These clamps are to be used with the center axle fork bottom adapter sets.

This set-up creates a much more responsive steering and better rear wheel hookup.  The rear wheel hooks up because the weight pivot point is transferred behind the tubes.

Designed for fork tube sizes between 35mm - 41mm. Price includes: Upper / Lower clamps and stem. You can use the stock handlebar mounts on the Honda, Kawasaki, and most Yamaha's. Some Yamaha's and all KTM's will not have stock handlebar mounts that work with our upper clamps and you will need to purchase the our 7/8" handle bar clamps.

Non-Adjustable Wide (8 1/2") Modern Bike Fork Clamps
for Honda, Yamaha, KTM & Kawasaki
Same concept as the standard size fork clamps, except provides and additional 1" spread to accomodate wider tires or clearance for Ice tires and their screws. These clamps are designed to specifically work with the stock factory components.

Designed for fork tube sizes between 35mm - 41mm. Price includes: Upper and Lower clamps, and stem. Handlebar mounts sold separately.

Adjustable Wide (8 1/2") Modern Bike Fork Clamps
for Honda, Yamaha, KTM & Kawasaki
Designed to specifically work with inverted forks and the stock factory components, these clamps provide and additional 1" spread and accomodate a variety of offsets.

Offsets provide the ability to make incremental adjustments to move your forks closer or away from your fork steering stem. By offsetting the forks farther away from the steering stem, this transfers more of the engine weight to the rear wheel providing better hook-up. By modifying your offsets, you can improve your rear wheel hook-up. The trick is getting the right amount of offset for each style of track.

Reversible offsets included are:  65mm centered, 60mm & 70mm, 55mm & 75mm

Price includes: Upper and Lower clamps, stem, and one set of reversible offsets.

Price:
Honda $ 525 set
Kawasaki$ 525 set
KTM $ 525 set
Yamaha $ 525 set

Additional Offsets $ 55 each set
Handlebar Mounts $ 50 pair

STEERING 101: How it works.
The basic elements of steering include rake, trail, and offset.

The trail plays a role in stabilizing the front-end by helping your tire develop a restoring force that attempts to keep your motorcycle traveling in a straight line.  The longer the trail, the more the motorcycle will resist turns and be more stable on straight line driving.  A shorter trail allows for quick and easier turns.  The shorter trail makes the motorcycle want to "fall" into the turns.

The rake plays a role by allowing any lean of the wheel to be translated into a turn of the wheel towards that lean.  A more vertical rake allows the bike to handle bumps and ruts well, HOWEVER, by having a smaller rake you create a smaller trail and forfeit some straight line driving stability.  A smaller rake also produces a lighter handling feel when turning. As you increase the rake, the motorcycle will produce a more heavier or sluggish handling feeling since the weight of the chassis is attempting to self-straighten the fork as it hangs in the steering axis.

The trail and the rake directly affect each other.  If you shorten one, you automatically shorten the other.  The opposite is also true.  If you increase the angle of the rake, you also increase the length of the trail.

The third basic element is the offset.  Offset is defined in millimeters (mm) and is measured from the centerline of the top of the steering stem axis to the centerline of the top of the fork tubes.  An offset provides a second option for the setup of how the motorcycle will handle. The smaller offsets (35mm - 60mm) allows the motorcycle to angle more into the corner and push through the turn. However on exiting the corner, you will experience less traction allowing you to turn easier and stay on the inside of the track.  As you increase the offset (60mm - 75mm) you obtain more traction coming out of the corners, but the greater offset forces the motorcycle into an upright position and you will drive more towards the outside of the track coming off the corner.

Other factors such as weight transer when braking, fork length, and tire size may also play a role in changing the trail and rake and should be given consideration when determining your set-up.
